Why official data is published on different dates
Each publisher has its own calendar. A joined-up report still has several clocks.
Land Registry waits for registration. ONS runs surveys and indexes. Ofsted publishes when an inspection is done. Police.uk releases periods. Ofcom updates twice a year.
As-at is the honest date
The useful question is not 'is this live?' It is 'what vintage is this section?'
How to read a mixed-date report
Treat each section as true for its as-at date. Do not average the dates into one fake 'current' picture.
A later report can change because an input moved, not because the street changed overnight.
